What I was up to
An overview of stuff I was working on or other stuff that kept me occupied in September 2026. Inspired by the movement of /now pages .
I’ve been busy the last few months! Partially, we’re doing some renovations in our house while the weather was good. I’ve also been working on a larger freelance project that’s hopefully going to be unveiled in November or so.
And now we’re finding that Autumn is knocking on the door hard, but that means that there’s good excuses to fire up the gaming PC! I’ve been playing some Star Wars: Jedi Survivor recently, and am now starting on Star Wars Outlaws as well. The typical Ubisoft open world games (like Assassin’s Creed) always end up making me feel bored or unfocused at some point in their open-world-ness, but so far, depending on the planets, that hasn’t happened much yet.
Besides all of that, here’s what we’ve been up to since last update in July:
- 📖 Listened to [The Blandings Collection], the audiobook compilation of P.G. Wodehouse’s stories, as read by Stephen Fry. We’re now going through Andy Serkis’ reading of the Silmarillion.
- 📺 Binged Solar Opposites and The Adventures of Tintin, and started watching Warehouse 13, which is right up our alley; mysterious, whimsical, great chemistry. Recommendation!
- Cool new animation: Dang!, Jentry Chau vs the Underworld, Golden Axe (an unexpected addition, but we love Mike McMahan’s stuff here, and this didn’t disappoint)
- New seasons of Futurama, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
- Making our way very slowly trough Star Trek: Deep Space 9
