What I was up to
An overview of stuff I was working on or other stuff that kept me occupied in October 2026. Inspired by the movement of /now pages .
October really went by quite fast. Too fast! And I didn’t really get to feel the nice spooky/halloween spirit as much as I’d like for two reasons. One, freelance work picked up quite a bit and I’ve been busy, and I’ve also been ill, under the weather, and similar; never quite hitting the properly ill threshold, but enough to ruin plans, prevent me from doing anything, or otherwise impede progress in anything I wanted to do.
Still, it’s nice to see that I now have both projects for Frontend Web development and Sound Design going at the same time, and I expect the sound design momentum to increase a bit in the next months. Which is great. When I got let go in June it was quite scary, but it seems that in the end it might have been good for me.
🎮 Gaming
With the sunshine and good weather becoming less available, I had a good reason to dust off my gaming pcs and spend some time exploring other worlds.I’ve been playing two Star Wars games recently, Jedi Survivor and Outlaws, and I’ve especially been enjoying the sights and sounds that it offers. I’ve also been enjoying the photo mode in these games.

I’ve also started up Cyberpunk 2077 again, exploring that world again after they added some new content for the 2nd season of the anime (Edgerunners).
📺 TV & Co
We’ve been watching Adventure Time: Side Quests the new season of Helluva Boss, and our ongoing watch of Warehouse 13 still going strong. We discovered and watched Haunted Hotel and Long Story Short, and we’re also making our way through the 2nd season of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.
