Although I’ve done plenty of playing around with music, it had been a while since I’ve last actually made something like a song, so when my partner wanted to upload timelapse videos of her illustrations to TikTok, we thought it would be a great challenge to make songs to accompany it.
I mostly tried to follow the flow of the video when figuring out when instrumentation comes in, although of course I had to do it within the boundaries of bars & beats.
